It made so much sense for Joe, for anyone who cared about Ken to destroy the hypersuit. And you went on to cover the consequences to be faced too. And you had Egobossler confronting a sick Ken. (Am I disturbed to think that was yummy ;) )
A wonderful little fic read to get back into the fandom.

This is one of my all-time favorite Gatch stories, since I began reading the fic in 1994 or so... You wouldn't believe how much I've come back to reread this one and quench my thirst for Ken/Joe slash.

I'm so glad you've posted this here. It's always been one of my favorites. That moment between Ken and Joe at the end of Chapter Ten remains one of the most emotionally intense scenes I've ever read, and it makes absolutely no difference that both of them are fully clothed at the time! Wonderful to read it again. :-)

Bet you never thought you'd see a fangirl drool review from me :) Just brilliant. Fabulous, plausible plot, lots of nods back to canon, and a relationship where it's entirely clear what's going on without needing naming of body parts.
Poor old Jun, though.
