Have to agree with Clouddancer here.  You paint Keyop in a very realistic light and he's a character that's sorely underused in our fandom.  I'm glad that he's found someone to love him.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. He's always been my favorite and I always wondered what he'd be like as an adult. He's a lot deeper than most people give him credit for. Glad you enjoyed these stories.

I really enjoyed reading this and I loved seeing a plausible, well-defined, older Keyop and his family getting some fanfic love.  I found the pacing generally good but a bit uneven in places and I could have used a bit of backstory about the multiple teams and their members.  However, the story line and concepts you explored rank among the best in our fandom and it's a unique and interesting read.  Kudos!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind words. Actually there were two other stories that went before this one but I had to remove them for editing and have not had the heart or motivation to fix and repost them. As for the pacing in this one, I think it reflects the stuggle I had finishing it. I was getting a lot of input from people and was having a hard time meshing what they thought the story needed with what I wanted in the story. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Oh, Garnet - you know I love what you do with Keyop! This is a wonderful addition to your grown up version of the boy we all know and love.

*sigh* You really do bring him to life for me!

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Green. I love writing about him and exploring the potential that we have so rarely seen fulfilled. I'm glad I've been able to show him in a different light. It doesn't hurt that I'm having a wonderful time doing it too.

Another great addition to your Keyop stories Garnet.

Author's Response: Thank, Cloud. This one just popped into my head the other day and I knew I had to write it. If nothing else, it helps me see more of who he is and why he does some of the things he does. Thanks for reading.

Garnet, this was a lovely piece.  I loved the way you wrote Keyop as well as the pain and touching emotions you put into the story.

The story seemed to have a nice flow to it as well.

Author's Response: Thanks, Cloud. I was kind of worried about the flow of the story because of all the challenges I had writing it. I'm glad the emotions came through clearly. And as for Keyop, I just love writing about him and writing his character. This is the most fun I've had with a character in a long time. Thanks again for reading and reviewing all the stories.

Garnet, even reading it for the second time I am still blown away by its' beauty! Still gorgeous, simply gorgeous!

Author's Response: Thanks, Green. Hearing that makes me blush. I'm glad it holds up under more than one reading. Thanks.

That was great fun! Much enjoyed the story, and your depiction of Keyop as an adult. I did get rather lost with all the non-canon characters, but I suspect that's because I haven't read any of your other stories.

And she definitely isn't a Mary Sue!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it, Cathrl. Yeah, the non-canon characters are even sometimes hard for me to keep up with, and I've been around some of them for months now. I'm starting to think that most of the characters in Gatchamaniacs have become developed enough now that very few of them could truly be classed as Mary Sues anymore, but I alway feel safer warning people that she shares a few things in common with me, but not many.:) Thanks again for reading.

I can tell you have a lot of first hand knowledge with having babi(es) or have done a lot of reaserch.  I love the deepening connection you show growing between Keyop and Garnet as well as the connection between Keyop and the babies.  He is going to make an excellent father.

Author's Response: I'm smiling as I write this. Yes, I do happen to have a little experience with having a baby. I also have had several friends that have dealt with the difficulties of not being able to have kids. I'm glad the growing bond betwenn Keyop and Garnet is showing through. I also figured he'd really connect with his kids. Having not had parents himself, he'd want his kids to be close to their own parents. I really need to write more that explore that bond. Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm glad you're enjoying these stories.

Very touching, and sometimes painful, story.

(You forgot to check 'completed' for this story.)

Author's Response: Thanks, UW. I also need to edit so that I can thank everyone who gave ideas and challenged me, even when I did get overwhelmed.:) I didn't check it as complete because when I was uploading, I didn't know if I was going to get it all posted in one sitting. I just forgot to go back and check it. I also need to add it to the series. Thanks, again for the encouragement and ideas.
