Title: Avatar Challenge!

This forum allows for custom avatars (which I see many of you now have), but it also allows for selecting pre-uploaded images. Problem is, while I found some anime, sci-fi and generic avatars, we don't have any specific for this fandom. I haven't had time to make any myself, so I'm making a challenge out of it. So, here is the challenge: We Need Gatch/BotP Avatars!Come up with nice quality avatars that others who aren't art-savvy or screengrab-savvy can use when setting up their profile. Requirements: Size: 100x100 Pixels Quality: Try to limit the 'jaggies' Theme: Gatchaman/BotP Style: Can be original art, sketches, screengrabs, ect... License: Anyone responding with an image for this challenge is giving permission for said image to be used by this site. (Yes, I know this gets a little sticky with screengrabs, but you get the idea). When responding to this, you can attach these to a forum post by using the following code: [img]http://dreamerscovestudio.com/banners/avatar1.jpg[/img] which would result in: (http://dreamerscovestudio.com/banners/avatar1.jpg) Have fun!

just a quick question... what are jaggies? ???
Pixelated? It's where you can see the individual pixels of a color. They get really noticeable on curved lines on images that are saved at a low quality.

Here in the Forum go to the link "Profile" after you have signed in. On the left side you will see plenty of options. The one you are looking for us under the heading "Modify Profile". Click on "Forum Profile Information". This is where you can choose an already created avatar or upload one of your own as well as create a signature that will automatically appear at the end of each of your forum posts.
By the way, since I was doing a site upgrade this weekend, I made sure that all the avatars you see above were uploaded as choices. :)

Um.... I've been culling my screencaps for potential avatars, and so far I'm up to 2000 for KNTG, 1200 for KNTGII and some 900 for Fighter.... :o
I don't think I should attempt to put them all here - but perhaps a new Fanart folder? :dontknow: Or do our almighty moderators have a better selection? :bow:

Okay - shall I organize them into multiple folders? Say at least one per series.... then perhaps one for Villans, one for Mecha, one for Extras (the individual episode extra characters) and one for "The Team"?

Yup.... lots and lots.... comes from an awful lot of screencaps from all three series - and the NTT commercials.... and I've neglected the OAV (at least for a little while...) Gotta have those visual references! (and animated gifs.... and...) I have a few of Master Don Wade... Keep tuned!
