I was born in 1970 and I am not ashamed to admit that, either.  Age is but a number; it's your attitude that counts. (And I've got plenty of it, too)   I first got into this because I used to watch Battle of the Planets every day after school when I was around 8 or 9 years old.  This show appealed to me because it was something so different about it.  I did not discover Gatchaman until I was in my early 30s, when Rhino started putting out episodes of BoTP on DVD, which had the corresponding Gatchaman epsiode on the DVD.  Then I found the fan community. And then I got all 105 episodes of Gatchaman.  I have not been the same since.

G-2 has always been my favorite character ever since the beginning.  My favorite episode of BoTP is Race Against Disaster.  My favorite episodes of Gatchaman are Duel on Galactor Island and the last five episodes of the series.  

My husband, Mr. Ann O'Malley, is also a fan of both shows, too, and he has been a BoTP fan since he was a little kid. 

When I'm not writing episode reviews (or trying to), you can find me reading or knitting.  I have attempted to graph out the bird head logo in order to knit it into something.  Someday, I will be done with this.  I also work in the electronics industry (and this is not a euphemism for selling computers at Best Buy.  I really do work in the electronics industry), so it amuses me to no end when I watch BoTP and listen to Zark get the terminology wrong.  ;-)   I'm also a part time student, too.   It is different going to class with some people who are half my age.
