I am female, live in Canada and a first grade teacher.  I watched BOTP as a kid and the show became a favourite and my cousins and I had to play “G-Force” – I had to be the Eagle.  After BOTP went off the air I continued to think about the show, creating my own stories and missions that the team would participate in. 

One day, 20 years later, I discovered I had immersed myself in my own BOTP universe giving the character much more of a background than the show had ever shown.  My Universe is set in today’s world and is based on books, TV shows and movies I had enjoyed.  I also based my Universe and characters on events that happened in the news.

Then in late 2006, I did a Google search on Battle of the Planets and discovered the Gatchaman world.  As the Gatchaman videos were released I purchased them and reminded myself why I fell in love with BOTP in the first place.  While watching the Gatchaman DVD’s I discovered that the BOTP characters in my AU lean towards the darker manners of the Gatchaman characters.

Besides teaching, I enjoy doing needlework and of course reading Gatch and BOTP fan fiction.  I have also been encouraged to begin writing some stories from my AU.
