Author's Response: Yeah, he has it rough here. I was trying to come up with a believable way to have a Ken-Jun-Joe love triangle ultimately resolve in Joe's favour without Ken having to be a *complete* jerk but it is debatable how well I succeeded...

Angst angst angst... and now you have me wondering...did Ken really blow it that badly with Jun? or is there more twists to come in the next chapter? Well done and a big thumbs up from me...
P.S you might want to break it dowm more into chapters, its hard to read 10,000 words in one sitting, especially with kids around my feet. I kept losing my place.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm working on the third-and-final fic right now, but it's still got a ways to go. I appreciate the advice on chapter length -I had never thought about how much more reader-friendly short chapters can be. The third fic will be divided into more, shorter, chapters!

Author's Response: Thanks! In the planning stages I decided that this fic should be just Ken and Jun, so I deliberately kept Joe out of it -he'll be in the third and final fic. I'm glad you think it worked!

Do I have to tell you how much I enjoyed this fic? You clearly have a wonderful insight into the characters and what makes them tick; in this case, for Ken. His willingness to diev into the relationship and then summarily end it are so quintessentially in his nature that it's really not surprising, and yet you made me feel for everyone involved.
I am looking forward to the sequel!
