Poor Jun, this makes me feel that she's unconsciously (ok maybe not *so* unconsciously)holding onto hope that one day things will work out for her and Ken.:(

You see a confident woman in this - but also the insecure one who loves and is never sure whether she is loved back.
This particular episode is a favorite of mine - although I've only ever seen the BotP version. However, in that version it is the only time we ever see that Princess may have a real competitor for Mark's affection.
I assume in Gatch it's much the same thing.
Very nice fic and a gret follow up.
Author's Response: In Gatch, it's clear that Rumi is "forbidden fruit." Ken knows it and lets her go. Rumi knows it too, and in the final scene, with a little bump with her hip and a dropped flower, she lets him know that 1) she sees through his disguise and 2) no hard feelings. At least that's how I interpret it. ;)

I wondered when I watched that EP how Jun would react to Rumi or have any idea that Ken was attracted to her.
You showed it well in this fic and the reactions of both of them.

OMG! I have a new fic on my list of favorites! I'm soooo glad you posted this one! I love the banter Ken and Jun have over Rumi...she really was a "bone of contention", wasn't she? LOL
