How awesome to see an update to this series! Should be really interesting how Mark and Jason (not to mention Princess) handles their commander/brother/significant other coming back into the fold. I hope that we see more in the future! :)

I loved this the first time I read it and its just as good the second. I hope there is more, as Mark and Jason have to learn how to be friends and brothers again.

A coming home story. I have read other parts of the series. You have thought through the AU a lot. There is the formerrelationship of Mark and Princess. But its not overplayed. She's obviously in love with Jason and well settled into their marriage even the body language of a longer term couple rubs off.
I like the comparison of Mark being there physically but emotionally catching up.
It would be nice for Mark at this age to not be alone. Even careeer driven people can have relationships. I hope he develops a life on Earth.
But a good start being there in a family crisis and connecting with his besties.
