Zette, the owner and operator of the "Forward Motion Writers" website, is now offering a free 2-Year Novel Writing course. This course is designed to take you from a hazy plot idea to completely writing the book and editing it, to submitting it to publications. Lessons come out once a week in a special forum.

Please note, this is for original work, not fanfic. But if you've had an idea lurking around in your brain and need a little prodding to help you get going on it, this may be for you. Come join a lot of other talented writers in the fun. Smile

She'll have sign-ups going for another week, if you are interested. If you sign up, please post here with your username and we can then support each other!

Click here to read a full description for the class.

PS: I'm Dreamerscove over there. Smile

It opens up every December. So, maybe next year?

Maybe.

How are you going with your novel? You should be up to editing it by now...  Smile

I've been neck-deep in edting/revision since the December holidays. I'm also participating in National Novel Editing Month in March. 31 days to complete 50 hours of revision work. With what I've already done, I'm really hoping that polishes off the book. At that point I have 3 beta readers lined up to help me with the final phase.

It's getting close!

Sounds great, how are you feeling about your story? How's the feedback coming along? I'm glad to hear your at that point.

I'm well over the half-way point now, which is very good. I've been sick the last 10 days, which has made the revision move much slower than I hoped. It's turning out that as I'm typing in the hand-written revision I'm also doing a lot of unexpected revision to add more character voice. Slows things down even more, but I know that putting that in is making the story better. Smile The novel is still on track to be finished March 31st. No one has ever read it, nor any snippets, so I don't have any feedback yet. At the end of this month, though, it'll go out to beta readers.
