Julia, it was never explicitly shown in Gatchaman, but more like strongly implied that Jun was attracted to Ken throughout the series. Whether Ken was oblivious to her attention, or chose to ignore it was never addressed in canon.

In BotP, there was a scene where Mark admits to having 'feelings' for Princess, and of course a lot of innuendo when the two of them visit Zark.

Jinpei/Keyop teases the Swan frequently about her infatuation too.

I was a BotP fan first time around in the late 70's in the UK.  I too only discovered Gatchaman online a couple of years ago.  I always wanted to be Princess, now I want to be Jun!  However, thinking about things it may explain why I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle and do martial arts!  I was shocked to find that Joe died at the end of gatch 1 too!  What I want to know is where all this romance comes from in the fan fiction?  I love the stories, but in the series did Jun ever enjoy a romance with any of the lads?

Thanks, Julia, I've been looking for the eps since YouTube took them down. My only gripe is that there only seems to be 44 out of the 52 eps there. Hope the rest are added soon

Just replace 27 with the episode you need.  You have to wait and carefully close down the ads. But once running they stream well and go full screen if you click bottom right of the display area.  I hope this helps, sorry I should have introduced myself.  I'm new here and about 35 years ago I wanted to be Princess, now I want to be Jun!

I have a feeling there were some copyright takedowns issued. It's been happening a lot on Youtube anymore.

Take a look at the other services like Vimeo and Hulu (and others) and see if they are up in those places. Anime44.com also might have links to the episodes.

I'm at a loss here I have been watching episodes on Youtube with subs as I really hate dubbed episodes & I cant understand Japanese. Im not sure what has happened but they seem to have nearly all disappeared ! Does anyone know where they have gone & why they seem to have all gone and become impossible to locate ? 
I have to have the subs but also have to listen to the voices - especially Joe's mmm..... but thats a different subject.

Also, to let everyone know, I nominated Gatchaman as one of the fandoms for Yuletide again this year. Sign-ups happen Oct 19-25 with fics due by Dec 20. You have to request 3-6 fandoms and your writer only has to write one fandom gift, so there is no guarantee that Gatchaman will be chosen. The Idea

A fandom Secret Santa -- we give each other stories, artwork, essays.

Very simple -- Email (amethyst.sh@gmail.com) or PM me with what you want and what you can give. After I have everything, I'll match up what people want and what they can give, and give you your prompt and medium.

Once you are done with your gift, send them to me. I'll post all submissions here for the receiver and everyone else to enjoy. After all gifts have been posted and enjoyed, and we've guessed who gave what, Givers will be allowed to reveal themselves. After they have had a few days to reveal, I'll post the master list of prompts and who did what.

The Specifics

1. Anytime between now and October 3, 2014 email or PM me with the following.

-- Choose two or three prompts
-- a Medium or two*
-- if choosing an fanfic or an essay, choose a team*
-- What you can give**

2. By October 7, you will receive from me a gift request

3. Send me the completed gift by December 19.

4. I'll post the gifts between December 15 and December 22.

5. People can reveal themselves to the recipients on December 26.

6. I'll post the master list on January 1, 2015; at that time givers can post their work elsewhere, such as Gatchfanfic or DeviantArt, etc.

7. 1500 word minimum for essays and stories (serial drabbles are okay, unless otherwise specified)

No maximum, but please keep in mind that gifts should be complete. If a prompt inspires more, sequels would be enjoyed by all.

The Rules

If you want something, you have to give something.

Please don't post or share^ the gifts with others or other sites until after the master list has been revealed on January 1, 2015 to give the recipients time to enjoy the work first.

If you don't want smut or slash, or won't write/draw smut or slash, please say so. Also if you prefer this, just put it in your prompt.

If you want to give multiple gifts, you can ask for multiple gifts.
