We are now heading into the holiday season. This means time with family, vacations, travel, and all sorts of other distractions. For this reason, we are pausing the Gatch Video Club until the first weekend of January. More details:

The "depreciated" functions are likely to be done away with in the next upgrade of PHP. I was able to fix one of them, because it's a simple fix, but not the others. For now, I've switched off all the warnings so that chat is still usable. Boeke, I would like to take you up on your offer to look at the code. There are two other depreciated functions I haven't been able to figure out yet. There's no other chat out there like this, so I would like to keep it going. Smile

CHaaaat, glorious chaaaaaat.... Big Grin  It's back! Big Grin Thanks Julie: I know it's only temporary but I've missed it so much!

Is this place just dead? What's going on?

We're around -- just far too quiet for our own good at times. Smile  Want to start a thread?

I'm trying to add some stories to favorites, but when I click on Add to Favorites the page just keeps reloading. I do see a comment box, but I've made comments in the past, or in some cases have no comments just liked it, and just want to bookmark it in faves now. What's the trick to doing so?
Thanks, Sal

Dear Sal,

Just tested that out and the feature seems to work (you know how irritatingly inconsistent these things are).  Can I ask what platform you're on?  I'm using Firefox on a Mac running OSX 10.6.  If you change browser, can you replicate the problem?  If it's consistent, I'll try with a test account and see if it's a permission problem.    Keep me posted! Smile
