Login with username, password and session length

Found a Glitch: If you are a new member and are posting a fanfic, DO THIS FIRST: Go to the Fanfic side of the website and then go into "Account Info": " Edit Preferences" and set up your settings. Then Save! THEN go and post Fanfic. By setting up your preferences first, the Software will properly count you as an Author.

Just giving a heads up that there appears to be an intermittent problem with story counts when it comes to co-authored stories. For some, the story count is only showing the number  of stories co-authored, not all of them. Because of this glitch, several people have fallen off the "Top 20's" list for most prolific authors. The problem is being worked on, but so far I haven't been able to zero in on the exact culprit for the problem.  Glare

I just noticed that it seems to be happening again.  Under "Authors," I'm showing as having one story instead of four, but a hasty glance at other authors reveals that Jane Lebak and Lori McDonald are showing as having only two stories (hardly the case!)

I ran a script and it looks like it corrected the story counts. Problem is I'm not sure what caused the numbers to shift in the first place. Oh well, we'll keep an eye on it. Smile
