Princess stiffened, and Jason could hear her sharp intake of breath. He chose to forge ahead anyway, knowing that he only had a few moments before the Commander finished receiving his last minute instructions in the Docking Bay.

“Look, the guy is clueless, okay?”

Princess sighed, and Jason could see her head nodding slightly. Encouraged, he took a deep breath and continued.

“I was worried about you, when I saw you run out of Jill’s. I wanted to go after you, but figured it probably wasn’t such a great idea.”

“Thanks.” muttered Princess quietly, a hint of pink staining her cheeks.
